Countless Christians have emotional and spiritual blocks that keep them in bondage. Sexual abuse and other traumatic events in the authors childhood kept her a victim rather than a victor, but eventually her journey brought her to the feet of Christ, where she experienced release.

Today Alice Smith offers hope, healing and practical help to others struggling with issues. Alice Smith paints a powerful and practical picture of what it looks like to move from victim to victor in Christ.

You too will face giants. The Almighty is commanding you to release anointed stones in the power of His name. Let them fly. Your giants will fall as you step out in faith!
Pastor James and his family had a devasting experience at his last church. The verbal abuse they suffered left them weak and tired as vicious lies circulated. Unable to deal with it all, he quietly resigned.

James decided to find secular employment until he and his family recovered from trauma. With his business degree, it wasn't hard to find work with his qualifications. His heart was to pastor, but that would have to wait.
Eventually the family found a fine congregation to join, and they sat quietly in service for months. One year later, James went to the Senior Pastor and offered to serve as a Sunday School Teacher. He was gifted, with a vast wealth of Bible knowledge, and many in the church appreciated him. His attendance was so large that the room routinely overflowed.

The Jewish Pilgrimage by Geoffrey Hoffman is clearly written to inspire philosophical discussion. This book depicts the authors personal journey to find some form of understanding about man, our various versions of God and how this effects society and the use of its knowledge.
The Jewish Pilgrimage is An Exploration of Reality, Mainly in Verse

The Jewish Pilgrimage by Geoffrey Hoffman is clearly written to inspire philosophical discussion. This book depicts the author personal journey to find some form of understanding about man, our various versions of God and how this effects society and the use of its knowledge. He debates moral issues and provokes deep thinking in several areas that will never leave my mind as I travel along my own road.

Geoffrey questions the justness of creation itself and the gift of consciousness. Also he cleverly uses metaphors when he depicts various pieces of himself by using the universe, planets and astrological colors. Without a doubt this student of life, takes joy in nature. Throughout the book the author makes his awe in the vastness of the universe quite apparent.
My personal favorite piece was Beautiful Among The Buildings, which used powerful visual statements like:
"Night sprawls among the broken lives that line the broken street; The lonely and unpitied men whose waste is our defeat. Men stagger from dank cellars; men, imprisoned in their cars, Go roaring into sightlessness  unmindful of the stars."
And the equally powerful anti-war piece, No Frontiers:
"The father carrying the limp body of his child, The soldier staring at his amputated hand, The little girl among the bloodied pieces of her parents â€" What does it matter if they are of one side or another? Dogma cannot grieve. It is the pain of individuals that sears."

If you have already read The Wrekening you need to hold onto it. In Jayel's newest book Dragon Queen you will find answers to all of your questions. This is the beginning of the saga. I read both books, back to back, and felt you need to read Dragon Queen first. With the two books together the story was very enjoyable.

Jayel has a talent to weave the characters and story line into a mesmerizing read. The Dragon Queen is the story of Yavie, her Guardians and their quest to reunite the seven kingdoms.
You will find that once you read Dragon Queen you will read The Wrekening again. Both books flowed together with their characters and story, although The Wrekening is about the next generation. The main character in Dragon Queen is Yavie who has a very strong character personality. Jayel has kept with the female lead in this book as she did in the first book. Her style is definitely her own, a little gaming, folklore, and a whole lot of fun.

The Dragon Queen tells you about each of the Guardians, the Ancients, the talismans and which elements each Guardian was linked to. How did a Guardian become linked to a flyte of dragons and why. Who betrayed the Guardians and why? The story will tell you why the kingdoms were shattered and by whom. The Dragon Queen is a story of courage, and adventure, betrayal and love.

This is definitely a book for pure reading enjoyment. I can't wait for the third book.

Wooffer is a collection of thirty-three short animal-adventure children stories originally written by Betty Fasig for her family. The center character is Wooffer, a hairy dachshund puppy that "mom", the author, receives as a surprise Xmas gift from her fun-loving family.

Wooffer is a collection of thirty-three short animal-adventure children stories originally written by Betty Fasig for her family. The center character is Wooffer, a hairy dachshund puppy that "mom", the author, receives as a surprise Xmas gift from her fun-loving family.
A host of animals grace the pages of Wooffer, including Old Agnes the mouse, thoughtful and protective Margaret the hen, Marygrey the pregnant rabbit, a proud and endearing peacock named Cho Lee who loves to strut his stuff and falls in love with a quail, and best friends Ibie the Ibis and Maudie the horse.

The stories are thoughtfully placed in chronological order, right down to the season. It even includes a Xmas story! This is a book about a puppy that changes the opinions of those around him, wins hearts and becomes a reliable, heroic friend. Wooffer earns respect from all the animals for miles around and becomes a bit of a legend by the time he grows up.
Generally warm, fun and light-hearted, Wooffer also tackles real-life issues from moving, loneliness, gaining respect, discerning truth from what one is told, getting lost, overcoming bullies and more.

Having spent a few years on a farm in my youth, I see germs of truth in the animal relationships and can verify the strange and wonderful bonds that happen between species. The epilogue provides a nice closure by revealing how all the animals still return to the same area annually and spend time with Wooffer and his friends discussing the old times and having new adventures.

"The Demon Plague by Joreid McFate is a fantastic paranormal suspense science-fiction novel, involving time-travel and mysticism. This 424 page book is also available in e-book format.
This exciting tale begins when a demon plague sweeps over mankind, wrought when some scientists developed a technology that mastered time travel. There are factions who radically search for a way towards racial and genetic purity â€" while others strive to cure the plague and fight for basic human rights. Crystal Patience Gladstone Donovan is caught up in this war when, at her grandmothers deathbed, she is given a family heirloom and told that she is the Star and to await her Moon.
Soon she is involved in a journey into the past where she meets her ancestor Patience Gladstone Talbot, another Star. Crystal learns that her middle names are common throughout time as they are given to the gifted child who is known by a birthmark. Chase scenes, deceit, battles, flashing back and forth into the past and into the future are all stepping-stones for Crystal and her friends in their attempts to do the right thing.
Without hesitation, I recommend The Demon Plague with the highest of ratings."

The Chaos Cycle by John Kerchack is destined for the best sellers list! I couldn't put it down and was quite frustrated when my life kept interrupting my reading sessions during the review process of this book. Honestly, my husband would talk to me and I wound even know it. He even made and served supper and I was scarcely aware of what had happened.
The Chaos Cycle by John Kerchack is destined for the best sellers list! I couldn't put it down and was quite frustrated when my life kept interrupting my reading sessions during the review process of this book. The author uses excellent writer skills that provide a steady flow of suspense. His characters are full, realistic  you really feel like you are right there. Not like watching a movie, but rather, right THERE. This is a rare talent indeed, and as a writer myself I can only envy it. John has incredible insight into the thought process of his characters - from those of the small abused children to the brutal killer.
Here we are taken on a chaotic ride while Harris and his team of talented detectives track down those responsible for a relentless murder spree in the state of Maryland, USA. I would classify The Chaos Cycle as a murder-thriller fiction novel with moments of brutal violence.
The book itself is of very good quality and is a nice size  at 288 pages.Time will slip away for the reader who opens THIS book!

Mrs. Salinas has written a very nice romance novel that readers can disappear in for a few days. The Captain Has Her Heart was just recently released, but is already stealing hearts!
Mrs. Salinas has written a very nice romance novel that readers can disappear in for a few days. The Captain Has Her Heart was just recently released, but is already stealing hearts!
The main character, April, is a nurse who really loves her job and often takes on extra shifts. Her husband is away completing his internship to become a Doctor. April is awoken by a man that comes in with an unusual fever â€" in fact they are both awaken by each other. She returns to her empty home only to receive a "dear John" letter from her husband who wants a hurried and clean divorce so that he can pursue his new interest.
Shocked and staggered by the loss of the plans that she had for her life, Commercial pilot careers are notorious for short-term relationships, but Trig Power was more than willing to take the chance when fate kept placing April near him. He adores her deeply but must also face a shattering experience before he can do anything else. In the end, he learns that what makes a man cannot be seen in a mirror.
Author, A.G. Salinas is a wife and mother of three. She shares a similar career with her main character, which really helps her bring the experience of nursing to her readers.

This is definitely a fantasy novel. Being a Tolkien fan, I found many days of enjoyable reading here in J.S. Harrison's world. This is a place that is crowded with Fairies, Leprechauns, friendly Trolls and Ogres, Wizards, Knights, Dragons, Vampire assassins, large evil black rabbits and ghouls along with Men, Dwarves, Elves and Trofkins.

With an anti-racist sentimism, the author places many different races together to embark on a journey that may bring hope to the people of Werdanbabadood and to save their world from the Evil Wizard, Sardego. This strange mixture of people go through many trials and adventures to find the Knights, only to arrive at a time when so few were able to come to their aide. Though everyone plays a very important part in the interwoven web of events, it is the Trofkins, a tree-dwelling people of writers and lovers of food and mischief, who are the heroes of the world.
